Enjoy a summer of performing arts, Windsor Mountain style. If you are excited about theatre and want to try acting, if you like traveling, meeting people and making new friends, if you like exploring interesting sites, then New England Traveling Theatre is for you! Challenge yourself as you help create a unique traveling theatre performance. Come together with students of many backgrounds and diverse talents to learn new theatre techniques. Learn about yourself and develop your theatre skills along the way. Immerse yourself in this creative process from beginning to end, and face many new challenges. There are few lines to memorize, no tech rehearsals to check the lighting and you might not even have a dress rehearsal before you meet your first audience! The moment you begin performing the show that you helped to develop, you feel an amazing sense of accomplishment. As part of a close-knit group of students, always remember what it is all about: FUN!

WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE?
This program is intended for students who have the desire to experiment in performing arts, want to make friends, and who enjoy traveling, camping and the outdoors. This program is designed for students who want to try theatre for the first time, as well as those who already have some stage experience. Students need to be ready for the challenges of working and living together as a small, close-knit ensemble, and should arrive with an open mind and a willingness to take risks onstage! As with all our programs, students will not be allowed to bring cell phones and may only communicate once or twice with their families during the program, though families are encouraged to attend performances when possible.

"I definitely feel like my acting and stage presence has improved on this program. Any stage fright that I have had has been overcome. I've learned how to deal with people even when you are with them all the time. That was probably the hardest part. My cooking skills have improved and I no longer fear the kitchen."
